So, Neil didn’t die in a nasty car crash in LA (as I read in some report on Facebook yesterday).
Electronic Beats magazine have probably incurred the wrath of Nezza and Chizza over leaking the info of a Berlin gig before the chaps announced it themselves.
Electronic Beats presents a very special short performance by Pet Shop Boys live in Berlin. The British pop duo will play a selection of songs from their new album Elysium on September 5, 2012, the first time songs from the album will have been played live. The 30 minute show is to be held in the small and exclusive environs of Hebbel am Ufer (HAU1), Berlin, Germany. Pet Shop Boys have especially selected the Hebbel am Ufer because of the theatre’s reputation as one of the most innovative event locations in Berlin for young, international and experimental art.
Tickets to the Pet Shop Boys showcase cannot be purchased, but rather only won through our Electronic Beats website — more details on this will be following on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. The entire performance will also be streamed live over ElectonicBeats.net.
Pet Shop Boys commented: “We wrote many of the ‘Elysium’ songs in Berlin so it seems very appropriate to give them their first live performances there. We’re looking forward to a very special event just days before the new album is released.”
