News Roundup

Hot on the heels of quite possibly the worst birthday ever, here’s some news:

  • Safari 5.1.7 has been released for OSX;
  • OSX 10.7.4 is available NOW.  See image at end of this post to see what it’s all about;
  • The next gen iPhone could be released as soon as September;
  • It may be preceded a month earlier by a 7″ iPad, which could cost between $200 and $250;
  • Another rumour suggests a 10″ iPad will hit the market in Q4 2012;
  • A fix has been made available for Office 2008 and 2011 for Mac.  The fix is meant to iron out vulnerabilities that allowed potential attackers to overwrite a computer’s memory with malicious code;
  • You may remember that Apple wants to create its own nano-SIM card technology, but perennial whingers like Nokia are still trying to get it overturned.
