Steve Jobs Cupertino Memorial

As you can see from the image, Apple CEO Tim Cook addressed a couple of Apple employees outside the Cupertino complex yesterday in a company memorial to Steve Jobs, who died last week.  Even more retail staff around the world closed stores for a while to watch a live stream of the event.  Stores closed and had white sheets draped over the glass doors to prevent nosey-parkers looking in on staff watching the memorial.

More than a million email tributes have been paid to Steve Jobs on a special page on Apple’s US site.  The UK site doesn’t have the scrolling messages attached to it, which is a bit of a con, although there is an email LINK where you can leave your own message.
