It’s been rumoured that the iPod Classic and iPod Shuffle may be set for the great recycling plant in the sky. The ‘Classic’ has been around for ten years now, and the Shuffle – well, unless you’re a jogger, I’ve never really seen the point of. The white iPod Touch will probably get announced next week, along with the iPhone 5 (maybe NOT the iPhone 4S after all). iPod now accounts for only 8% of Apple’s total revenue, compared with 55% in 2006.
Quickie: RIP iPod Classic / Shuffle?
