Tests from people who’ve had theirs early say the proximity sensor is much, much better than the black version, and that the ‘death grip’ isn’t as bad as on the first model, inasmuch as not so much of a signal is lost when the steel antenna surround is gripped ‘the wrong way’. Encouraging.
*WARNING* – If you’re thinking of getting a white one, it’s just become knowledge that the phone is 0.2mm thicker than the black version. Doesn’t sound a lot, but some have said the new phone doesn’t fit inside some existing cases. Not reason enough to not buy it, of course, but just a heads-up.
